SCREEN AND COAT
Restore your wood floors without the hefty price of sanding and refinishing. Every few years, well before the protective coat has grown too thin, you refresh it with another coat on top. Unfortunately many people pay hundreds more for sanding, a process their floors may not yet need.Screen and coat is a simple process which entails the use of clog-resistant sanding disks. Screening removes the floor finish without cutting into the wood itself. The screen and recoat (also called buff & coat) procedure for hardwood floors is a cost effective method of fixing or revitalizing worn or dull floors. Instead of paying for a complete refinishing, floors can be brought back to life.Floors that benefit from screen and coat:
*Floors that were sanded a few years ago
*Floors that have a dull coat of polyurethane
*Finish change (e.g. if you want to change your satin finish to a glossy finish or vise versa).
INSTALLATION
We are experienced installers that have successfully installed hardwood over concrete and/or plywood. We have worked with virtually all types of hardwood products – both solid and engineered planks, wide plank. We also have experience installing borders. Installations can be completed within a couple days and we do our best to keep the disruptions to a minimum.
SANDING AND REFINISHING

Sanding the floors means that we sand all of the finish and stain off of the existing floor, sand the floor flat, and remove approximately 1/32" of wood. Most 3/4" hardwood floors can be sanded 6 times as long as a professional company sands the floor each time needed. Hardwood floors should last 100-150 years, making hardwood floors the longest lasting value for the home that can be purchased if cared for by a professional team.
